Fire Protection Service, Inc. is a full line fire equipment and service company, having been in business since 1952 at the same location. They are fully licensed to design, install, and service fixed fire extinguishing systems, fire and smoke detection systems, sprinkler systems and portable fire extinguishers. FPS is also fully licensed to perform hydrostatic testing of fire extinguishers and is United States Department of Transportation certified to test high pressure cylinders, such as CO2 cylinders and breathing air cylinders. FPS is also certified by the U.S.C.G. to perform yearly inspection on liferafts. Design staff is NICET certified for all phases of design work in Special Hazards, Fire Alarms, and Sprinklers.
