Located at the heart of Greek shipping in the port of Piraeus, STOP specializes in Personal Protective Equipment for over 45 years. We produce and distribute high quality safety equipment including workwear, safety footwear, gloves, head protection, fall protection, respiratory protection and gas detectors. We have led the Greek market since 1978 and remain dedicated to our mission; For the last 25 years, our core focus has been to service the shipping industry with a presence in The Netherlands since 2013 and a dedicated staff of over 90 employees. STOP holds the accolade for the implementation of the first “CE” mark on a Greek Personal Protective Equipment product by the Ministry of Development, received the 1st award of Quality Production by the Greek Chamber of Commerce and was the first Greek company to receive the ISO 9002 certificate. Today, our commitment to safety is stronger than ever and we continue to develop and design PPE, in cooperation with our customers to promote a culture of safety on board, delivering a full range of high quality PPE. We specialize in the production of workwear, including boilersuits, winter garments, arctic clothing, welders’ apparel, firefighting suits with MED approval, garments for protection against electric arc and a full range of leather and synthetic gloves for general purpose use and against thermal risks. Our production is certified to produce category III PPE. We are committed to sourcing materials and offering services in ways that are socially responsible, acting proactively to minimize any negative effects of our operations on the environment. We are minimizing the use of plastic for our packaging, choosing plant-based and sustainable resources in place of traditional non-biodegradable packaging. Human rights, non-discrimination, anti-corruption, environmental responsibility, health & safety are key factors in our operations. We assess our suppliers effectively by evaluating both their operational capabilities and their compatibility with our company’s environmental and social standards. Our experienced and well trained team are available to offer on site risk assessment and technical assistance. Our facilities in Piraeus and Rotterdam are comprised of sales, customer service, production and warehouse facilities. In Piraeus we operate a training and service center for fall protection and gas detection. Our dedicated customer service team process POs through our integrated ERP and WMS systems offering quick order processing and streamlined worldwide deliveries. State of the art logo printing presses, vinyl logo printers and embroidery machinery are operated by our specialist production teams applying company profile logos to all workwear and safety helmets.
