Global Marine Supplies SpA has been established in 2013r by the merging of the two most experienced and professional ship chandling companies located in Italy and well reputated in the international maritime world. Eurosupply Spa started operating under this name in 1994 by merging together three well known shipsuppliers into a new, bigger company. Strongpoints of Eurosupply have always been technical stores, wire and mooring ropes thanks to a huge stock built up in Genoa. The Company owns a testing bed approved by all Classification Societies where it possible to test all kind of ropes and lifting equipment. Eurosupply is owned by Boccardo’s and Poggi’s families. Mercandino Srl was founded by Gino Mercandino in the beginning of the 1960’s, animated by his spirit of enterprise and prudent business decisions. Through a constant growth and improvement of our organization, essential combination to always ensure high quality services and competitive prices, the company has managed to carve out a niche of growing importance in the ship supply business. Careful choice of dedicated staff members through the years ensures that we are always ready to fulfill customer demands, from the requests for quotation to the final delivery. Mercandino and Eurosupply have decided to share their knowledge and experience into a new Company, Global Marine Supplies (GMS) who started operations on Jan 1st 2013 to offer our Customer even better services and prices. We are now working to improve our customer’s satisfaction and to enlarge our offer of products.
