Extinval has 25 years of experience in fire fighting and liferaft service in Spain. Since January 2011 expanded to Houston with a subsidiary, Extinval USA. Due to the importance of this project the General Manager and some expert engineers have been transfered from Spain to the U.S. branch in order to provide the highest quality of service in the Houston area. Extinval USA is new to this website, therefore has no trade rank data yet. SCOPE OF SERVICES: 1.- INSPECTIONS AND MAINTENANCE OF ALL TYPES OF FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEMS: •Inspections, refill and hydrostatic test of all type of extinguishers. •Completed inspection of CO2, foam, powder and other types of fixed extinguishing systems. •Inspections of fire alarms and sprinklers. •Inspection, refill and hydrostatic test of breathing apparatus, air escape sets and medical oxygen cylinders. •Inspection of life jackets. •Inspection of immersion suits and survival suits. •Inspection and hydrostatic test of fire hoses. •Inspection and maintenance of pilot ladders and embarkation ladders. 2.- LIFE RAFTS: Inspections, maintenance and repairs of the following liferafts: CREWSAVER, ELLIOT,RFD, RFD BEAUFORT, RFD TOYO, RFD SURVIVA, RFD REVERE,DSB,AUTOFLUG,ZODIAC, CSM, UZEMIK, SHANGAI,CUNHONG, VEB TEXTIL/SEETEX, JIANGSU HAINING and HAI AN LIFESAVING. USCG Approval. 3.- LIFEBOATS AND DAVITS INSPECTION SERVICES: We can carry out in the Houston area and in the rest of United States ports, annual and five yearly inspections including 1.1 overload test of Lifeboats and Launching Appliances according with SOLAS Regulation as MSC.1/Cir. 1206. We have been authorized by the following manufacturers: ZHENJIANG MARINE,SHIGI,TSUNEISHI, SANYO, SEKIGARA, MIURA, MANABE, NISHI F, QUINDAO BEIHAI, JIANGSU JIAOYAN MARINE and MANSEI. We can also carry out inspections of lifeboats and launching appliances of any other manufacturer with the flag approval. 4.- CALIBRATION OF GAS DETECTORS: We offer all types of equipment, installations, repairs, and calibrations of the gas detectors in the Houston area. We offer fixed systems for the detection of one or more gases as well as for checking the right percentage of the oxygen level, as well as personal gas readers to make it a lot safer in confined spaces. We also have available an alcohol detector as a means to control the alcohol consumption of crew and key personnel.
