Established back in 1967 the company continues to be 100% family owned serving the needs of the Shipping, Offshore Oil and Gas, Drilling and Towing, Yachting and Sailing, Fishing and Aquaculture Industries. Since the very beginning, D. Koronakis S.A., has been driven by a spirit of innovation in both management and product development. The company’s product range includes hi-tec synthetic ropes, wire and combination ropes, mooring ropes and specialized sailing and yachting ropes. Produced in Greece, all products are globally recognized for their top quality and technical performance. In recent years, the production units of the company have expanded, covering more than 104,000 m2 of building areas on more than 252,000 m2 of land. The company operates a state of the art factory that is able to produce any kind of rope, of any size, quality, length or color. The company is also specialized on steel wire ropes normal and special constructions like Verope, Casar etc and additionally, we keep stock of anchor chains 16-102mm, anchors up to 13 tons, their accessories as well. Rigging accessories (also maser links etc) of various brands including Gunnebo are available ex stock. Recently, has proceeded with the acquisition of the ex “Xanthi Cables” plant, moving to a new business activity. In the production of electric cables. D. Koronakis SA believes in innovation and rope technology and under this prism they design, produce and launch unique products in modern machinery that are re-dismantling by the experts technicians of the company in house. To guarantee top quality control for their products, they have established in the factory the biggest Test Bench available in southern Europe pulling capacity 500 tons and a brand new Testing bench pulling capacity 600 tons to meet latest OCIMF MEG4 regulations which can simulate real operating conditions.
