Heinen & Hopman Engineering was founded in 1965 as a family business in Spakenburg in the heart of Holland. Starting out as a subcontractor for mainly central heating installations, the company rapidly grew to become an expert in the field of installing air-conditioning, cooling, ventilation and central heating systems on board ships. The next logical step was to deliver complete solutions in this specialist area.

Heinen & Hopman Engineering therefore developed its own product line for marine applications, manufactured at its own workshops. These products are manufactured and sold under the name 'SALOR'.

The company is NEN- ISO 9001 certified by Gastec and all orders are undertaken according to this standard. With an experience of over 35 years, Heinen & Hopman Engineering has excellently provided systems & performed installations on a wide variety of more than 4500 ships which include
