New functionality allows suppliers to send attachments with quotes and purchase order confirmations
ShipServ is delighted to announce that from this week, all SmartSuppliers will be able to upload attachments such as technical product information and diagrams within their SmartSupplier system.
Suppliers will also be able to add attachments such as Terms and Conditions to all purchase order confirmations they send to shipowners or shipmanagers.
This new feature means that suppliers no longer have to send attachments via email and helps save valuable time in the quoting process.
Shipowners and managers using ShipServ TradeNet will be able to view the attachments via several interfaces such as Transaction Monitor, email notification, Variance Report, their eSSM dashboard and the QuoteSelect feature.
This is the second feature aimed at improving quote response times added to SmartSupplier in recent months and follows the Lost RFQ notification that allows suppliers to only concentrate on quotes they have a chance of winning.
