New improvements for SmartSupplier

Over recent months we have made two major improvements to the SmartSupplier solution making it easy to see when RFQs have been awarded to a different supplier and enabling suppliers to reduce the number of irrelevant RFQs in their inbox.

Save time chasing lost RFQs

With the new Lost RFQ feature ShipServ SmartSuppliers can now instantly see in their RFQ inbox when the order has been awarded to a different supplier.

This means a supplier no longer has to  chase RFQs that have already been closed.

The Lost RFQ feature also provides insight into which RFQs are typically awarded to alternative suppliers and which are the most common types of RFQ that are typically lost.

To access this feature suppliers need to use the latest version of SmartSupplier – V.1.7.2.

Reduce number of irrelevant RFQs

Every time a supplier declines an RFQ in SmartSupplier they will be asked to select a reason for this decline such as they do not supply the product or do not deliver to the requested port. This information will be used to reduce irrelevant RFQs and ensure that only high-quality RFQs are received.
