One of the world’s leading petroleum tanker operators chooses TradeNet platform for its e-procurement activities

ShipServ has built further on its trusted position among tanker owners and operators with the signing of AET.
AET signed with ShipServ on the strength of its pedigree in the tanker market, and was attracted by the ability to standardise transactions with all its suppliers and avoid manual duplication.
The global company’s procurement activities are based in Singapore and responsible for around 60 in-house managed vessels including VLCCs, Suezmax and Aframax tankers.
AET is connected to ShipServ through its current ABS Enterprise system software suite with the entire implementation process taking less than two weeks.

AET also joins a growing band of Asian shipowners and operators that are currently using ShipServ which includes, BW Fleet management, Epic Shipmanagement, MSI Shipmanagement, Misuga, K Line Shipmanagement, Prisco and Seacor Marine.
AET specialises in the global ocean transport of petroleum and operates a fleet of 77 petroleum vessels comprising of VLCCs, Suezmaxes, Panamax, Aframaxes, DP shuttle tankers and clean tankers. AET has a further four vessels on order. The company is headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, with commercial centres in Singapore, London, Houston and Gurgaon (India), together with a specialist offshore lightering unit in Galveston, Texas.
