E-commerce for free with Connect3

‘The best things in life are free’ or so the song goes and we are now delighted to offer our Connect3 service, that gives shipowners the chance to experience e-commerce on our ShipServ TradeNet platform, for  exactly that – FREE.

So shipowners using a purchasing system from ABS NS5,  Consultas, Danaos, GL Maritime Software, ShipNet, SpecTec, Teomaki, and Tero Marine will be able to taste the benefits of e-commerce by connecting with three of their key suppliers – free of any ShipServ charges.

The benefits of using e-commerce have been well documented over the last few years, but essentially it allows purchasers to save time and money by taking away the manual retyping of RFQs and Purchase Orders, allowing time to be spent on more productive tasks.

So rather than cost money, there are actually substantial savings to be made by implementing and using e-commerce. According to our estimates, if a shipowner is operating a fleet of 20 or more vessels, the savings go up to $600,000.

Other benefits include the ability to access key benchmarking data. Through the transaction monitor and WebReporter, you have access to a variety of reporting tools to help you measure your activity and keep track of your transactions.

There are seven standard reports in the Business Intelligence module. There will also be Key Performance Indicators sent to you every month by email.
