ShipServ launches Supplier Insight Report

New reporting tool provides all suppliers with 100% measurability of their marketing spend

London, UK, 17 July, 2012. ShipServ, today announced the launch of a new reporting tool, which will enable maritime suppliers and brand manufacturers to track their entire marketing spend across both ShipServ Pages, the world’s leading maritime search engine and its e-commerce platform, ShipServ TradeNet.

The Supplier Insight Report is now available to all 40,000 suppliers registered on ShipServ Pages for free and shows in one simple dashboard all the results of their marketing activity broken down into banner advertising impressions, searches, profile views, contact views, request for quotes (RFQs) and purchase orders.

David Hardy, Chief Marketing Officer for ShipServ said:

“The key to marketing and lead generation spend is measurement. Gone are the days when most of your marketing spend is not trackable. With this new reporting tool, available to all of our suppliers, we are enabling 100% visibility of marketing spend across all ShipServ products.

The Supplier Insight Report is available in an easy to use graphical format and allows suppliers to drill down into detail and set customisable time periods and keywords so they can benchmark and compare their performance against the total market for their specific products or services.

As part of the drive to help suppliers receive more RFQs and orders, ShipServ has also launched three other free tools to complement the new Supplier Insight Report.

• Profile Complete Score – shows how complete a supplier’s profile is on ShipServ Pages and suggests improvements

• RFQ Inbox – an Inbox where suppliers can see, manage and respond to all their Pages RFQs

• Block Buyer – a feature that allows a supplier to block specific buyers from sending RFQs to them in the future
