ShipServ Pages and TradeNet hit major milestones

WE like milestones here at ShipServ HQ and this week saw ShipServ Pages break the 40,000 suppliers’ barrier.

As the graph below shows, over the last five years Pages has grown from just over 15,000 suppliers to over 40,000 suppliers from over 200 countries and now allows maritime buyers to locate over 1,500 brands in 7,500 ports around the world.

And whilst we are on the topic of milestones, we can’t forget to mention that our e-commerce platform ShipServ TradeNet, passed the 20 million transaction mark at the beginning of this year, after completing close to 5m transactions in 2011.

To put that in context, it took nearly eight years to reach the first 10 million transactions on TradeNet, but only two more years to go from 10 to 20 million transactions. Proof – if it was ever needed – that e-commerce use in the maritime industry is still growing at a rapid rate.
