ShipServ MariTimes February 2012 – Supplier Edition

New suppliers sign up for e-invoicing

SEVEN major ship suppliers including leading ship chandler Hanseatic Marine Services have now signed up to use e-invoicing services through the ShipServ TradeNet platform. Over the last few months, thousands of invoices have been successfully transferred through the platform using an MTML translation service, with many more suppliers set to come on stream over the next few months. ShipServ at Digital Ship Hamburg

LEADING Maritime IT & Comms publisher Digital Ship kicked off  its 2012 events schedule with an impressive turnout at the Magnus Hall on the leafy outskirts of Hamburg last week. Over 200 people gathered for two days to listen to a variety of speakers from the IT, Satcomms and e-commerce sectors with a large contingent of German shipowners and managers.
