It is now less than three months to our SmartShipping and Connect 11 event in Singapore and the agenda is coming together nicely.
It has been developed as a strategic conference grounded in the commercial realities of today’s shipping markets and on the premise that shipowners can and will engage with innovation when it results in greater efficiencies, simplified compliance and correspondingly lower operational costs.
“We are hearing more and more often that the shipping industry needs to fundamentally reshape its business priorities and its approach to innovation and the use of technology. SmartShipping is an opportunity to hear from the companies and organisations leading that innovation how those ideas can be put into practice.” says our founder and CEO Paul Østergaard.
SmartShipping speakers and attendees will be drawn from among naval architects, ship designers and optimisation specialists, sustainability and environmental compliance experts and managers responsible for strategic decisions on innovation and technology.
Already confirmed to participate as speakers are representatives from BW Ventures, Wilhelmsen Ships Service, DNV, AP Møller-Maersk, Grieg Shipping and Anglo-Eastern Maritime Services with more to be announced.
