How Nor-Shipping has struck digital gold

It’s a big hats off to the Nor-Shipping organisers and their marketing people this year as they have truly embraced all digital platforms in their quest to spark debate about the hot topics of this year’s event under the broad banner of Next Generation Shipping

So often in the past, exhibition organisers have either completely ignored or at best half-heartedly attempted to engage their digital audience only at the last minute and then blamed the various platforms for its failure.

But not this time. From its excellent mobile platform, to it’s engaging twitter channel, a $1000 social media competition, an e-book and a fantastic interactive maritime campus,  Nor-Shipping’s digital strategy has been a breath of fresh air and exactly what our industry should expect from such a large trade show.

We just hope that others around the world have taken note and this now becomes the norm rather than the exception. Well done, Nor-Shipping.
