Shipping cluster in hi-tech revolution

“The strength of the Danish shipping cluster has been beneficial to the technology companies in the region as much as the shipowners,” so writes Craig Eason in today’s edition of Lloyds List. ShipServ is one of a few companies profiled in the article.

As a business with its roots in Denmark, ShipServ has flourished where others have failed. The article points to an “unusual wealth of diversity and entrepreneurial spirit within the region” being responsible for companies like ShipServ surviving and thriving.

Our very own Chief Operating Officer, Kim Skaarup, is featured in the article describing how we’ve moved from purely facilitating electronic transactions to providing benchmarking and business intelligence tools that support buyers and sellers alike.
