What’s New in Pages? New advertising options for advertisers

For suppliers that want to build their brand further we’ve updated our flexible range of banner advertising opportunities. We have switched to a smaller number of larger ads to improve the appearance of our site to visitors. We now also allow multiple ads to target the same set of keywords/countries.

Advertising on Pages is different to advertising on any other shipping-related site. That’s because all of our visitors are purchasing professionals looking to source new suppliers. There are no casual browsers on Pages. This means you get your company in front of real buyers looking to buy real products – maximizing your sales & marketing spend.

Choose from three options depending on your marketing goals:

General Banner (formerly Main Banner) Ad

Appear on the right-hand side of all search results and supplier profile pages. Ads are displayed when no Targeted Ads (see below) are available. A cost effective way to get started with advertising.

Targeted Banner (formerly Category Banner) Ad

A Targeted Ad truly gives you the chance to focus your marketing spend on your target audience.

That’s because with a Targeted Ad you can target specific categories, countries or even ports (e.g. Pumps in Singapore). Meaning you only appear against the specific searches relating to what your company sells.

Targeted banners also combine with Premium Listings, letting a specified Premium Listing gain the number one spot in search results for category, country or port combinations.

You can actually place ANY Premium Listing at the top of the search results – giving you the flexibility to, if appropriate, choose authorised agents, local branches or regional representatives.

Home Page Banner Ad

Displayed on the Pages Home Page for maximum visibility and impact. Viewed by all buyers who perform a search, currently over 12,000 maritime purchasers every week and rising. This represents an excellent way to put your name in front of a difficult-to-reach global market.
