Announcing Browse by port and some tricks for Google

We’ve now added the option on ShipServ Pages to browse by port name for categories, brands and countries where suppliers exist. You can see this feature by clicking on a category or brand name from the Pages home page and then selecting the ‘browse by port’ option next to the country name of interest. We have also improved the design of this page to make it a bit clearer – see below.

We’ve also made sure all this information is easy to find by Google. For example we display the list of countries with the full text of ‘Marine Suppliers of <brand > in <country>’ rather than just listing the country names. This is one of those things that we worry about and you don’t need to. To cut a long story short this approach  gives us a much better boost for these Pages on Google.

So, we ensure that Google betters indexes, say,  Caterpillar suppliers in Japan, meaning those suppliers’ content will more easily be found next time some does a relevant search on Google. Which is all part of why we’re your best marketing channel on the Internet.
