Nautisk Forlag extends relationship with ShipServ

Leading agent for nautical charts and publications expands agreement to include Singapore office.

OSLO, NORWAY, 11 June, 2009ShipServ, the leading maritime e-marketplace, today announced at Nor-Shipping 2009 that it had signed an expanded agreement with Nautisk Forlag, one of the world’s largest agents of nautical charts and publications.

Under the terms of the agreement Nautisk Forlag will integrate its Singapore office with ShipServ TradeNet, the e-commerce trading platform for operational supplies.

Nautisk Forlag has grown from being the largest Norwegian distributor of nautical charts and publications to one of the leading agents worldwide, serving companies from Singapore and China to the US and Europe. It is an official distributor for the hydrographical offices of the UK, US, Norway, Sweden and Denmark, and holds extensive stocks of all charts and publications necessary for ocean-going vessels, both in paper and electronic formats.

Nautisk Forlag have been a TradeNet customer since 2004, and have already integrated their Oslo operations into Nautisk Forlag extends relationship with ShipServTradeNet. The addition of Singapore means Nautisk Forlag now covers the majority of its customer markets.
