I was privileged to see a recent analysis by a US ship manager that showed the many ways they had benefitted from using ShipServ to manage the sourcing and purchasing of their marine supplies. Whilst the analysis was crammed full of great efficiencies and time savings, when it comes down it we all want to know about the $$$$. And at this moment in economic history, surely money talks… and etc. walks.
Happily in this case the savings were clearly there to be seen. Using ShipServ Pages to source several new marine suppliers to replace one single incumbent marine supplies contract realized a 40% saving across the year. Yes, that’s right 40%!
Which does beg the question, for the sake of a few clicks why aren’t ALL ship managers giving Pages a go to locate marine supplies and maritime equipment? (Its free to use after all).
And Suppliers – for almost minimal investment why aren’t YOU getting exposure to a global buying community of 12,000 purchasing managers using Pages every single week.
