ShipServ Announces the Winners of the 2008 TradeNet Awards

Masterbulk and Lagaay International recognized as leaders in maritime e-commerce

COPENHAGEN, DENMARK, May 20, 2008 –ShipServ, the leading maritime e-marketplace, today announced the winners of the 2008 TradeNet Awards at a special award ceremony held at the ShipServ Connect08 conference in Copenhagen.

TradeNet Award winners represent members of the ShipServ community who have taken the maritime e-commerce industry to new levels of excellence. The two Award categories – for best buyer and best supplier - recognize achievements in innovation, leveraging the ShipServ TradeNet e-commerce platform and driving collaborative working best practices with trading partners.

The winners were picked by a panel of judges from a shortlist of nominations, originally submitted by the TradeNet community of 115 buying and 7,000 Supply organizations.
