ShipServ Founder & CEO to present at APM 2008 in Singapore

Paul Ostergaard to discuss “How the Internet is Quietly Changing the Economics of the Global Shipping Industry.”

LONDON, UK, March 13, 2008ShipServ, the leading maritime e-marketplace, today announced that its Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Paul Ostergaard, will present at Asia Pacific Maritime (APM) 2008 on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at 12:00 pm at The Singapore Expo in Singapore.

In a paper titled “How the Internet is Quietly Changing the Economics of the Global Shipping Industry”, Paul will discuss how ShipServ has helped maritime buyers and sellers around the world to redefine the way they do business. In addition he will share the experiences of a community of over 22,000 users, who are on track to conduct $1bn in trade per annum, buying and selling ship supplies and parts in more than 90 countries.

ShipServ will also be hosting an in-depth seminar, “The Billion Dollar Marketplace”, at APM 2008. The seminar will be held at 14:30 to 15:30 on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 in the APM Marine Presentation Forum in Hall 3.
