ShipServ Supplier Seminar in Miami

ImageOn December 11, ShipServ hosted a special event in Miami Beach, Florida: the first dedicated Supplier Summit in the US. Centered largely around the cruise industry and sponsored by Wartsila Corporation, this all-day event was designed primarily to introduce ShipServ’s advanced tools and solutions to the cruise community, and to share experiences among suppliers, logistics firms and ship operators.

Highlighting the day’s activities were a series of featured speakers, including Arto Keskinen and Randall Nunmaker of Wartsila, Nick Ranade of Holland America Lines, Ken Anderson of Princess Cruises, and Andreas Market of Geodis Wilson.

ShipServ’s Senior VP of Americas, Don Staffin, demonstrated our new Contract Management module, and Mikael Weiss, VP of Customer Relations, gave a comprehensive talk on ExpertSupplier and his experiences with supply chain integrations.

The day wrapped up with a lively Supplier Panel that featured Pradeep Kumar of Ashland Drew Marine, Greg Nielsen of First Choice Marine Supply, and Nick Pappas of W+O Supply.

Close to 100 delegates attended what came to be a richly collaborative and fun filled day.
