ISSA and ShipServ combine efforts to improve the quality of their respective web-based ship supplier directories
ShipServ Pages, the world’s largest and fastest growing online supplier directory for the maritime industry, boosted the quality of its information today with an agreement with the International Ship Suppliers Association (ISSA).
Under the agreement, all ISSA members will receive a free listing in ShipServ Pages (www.shipserv.com/pages) - this is in addition to their existing listing in the ISSA Register (www.shipsupply.org/register/register.htm). The listing will include their ISSA logo, an accepted quality stamp on ShipServ Pages.
Furthermore, ISSA’s Malta-based membership secretariat and ShipServ’s Manila-based call center will cooperate in ensuring the continuous verification and updating of ISSA members’ data in both directories.
The deal gives ISSA members an additional channel for marketing themselves to new customers, while giving purchasing managers easy around-the-clock access to accurate and up-to-date information about quality suppliers globally.

ISSA members undergo a rigorous vetting procedure before joining, and we are delighted that the ISSA logo is becoming an accepted quality stamp on ShipServ Pages”.

In addition, it has been agreed that ShipServ Pages will be extended to include identification of suppliers that meet the stringent ISSA Quality Standard. This qualification, based on the ISO standard and endorsed by InterManager, helps to further distinguish suppliers that comply with the ISSA members Quality Standard.
Suppliers that wish to increase the level of information presented about them in ShipServ Pages can purchase a Premium Listing securing them the highest search result rank and allowing them to upload documents, e.g. catalogues and price lists. In addition, banner ads can also be used for enhancing suppliers’ visibility in the online directory.
