ShipServ is making waves! 12 new shipping companies have joined in the past three months as well as several suppliers while others have upgraded their solutions by integrating their sales order systems directly with our e-marketplace TradeNet.
At the end of 2006, we expect to reach an annual runrate of 1.8 mio. transactions at a trading value of $700 mio. So look out for more announcements on new TradeNet Members soon.

Dredging giant chooses ShipServ as e-commerce provider
Image Adopting e-commerce has long been on Van Oord s radar and the company has been impressed by the e-commerce experiences of other owners. The principal benefits that it expects from implementing ShipServ are cost and cycle time reduction but also data quality improvement. Japan powers ShipServ 2,000,000 transaction record
During the first half of 2006, ShipServ TradeNet has seen the number of ships managed by Japanese owned companies grow significantly by 70% to over 220. This increase is the result of companies such as Meiji Shipping Group, Solar Japan Co., and NYK adopting e-commerce as part of their purchasing strategy.
ShipServ TradeNet has seen a dramatic increase in its transaction volume with its second million transactions achieved in less than a year when the first million took five years.

ShipServ opens new office in Manila
ShipServ’s rapid expansion has led to the opening of an office in the Philippines. ShipServ Manila will include a team of system developers led by Marites Pasiliao; a team to handle telesales of ShipServ Pages to complement online sales; and a global Customer Support Centre.
