9 June 2005
Dear Friend of ShipServ :
Imagine two days of inspiring presentations mixed with dynamic and interactive workshops focusing on the subject of SUPEREFFICIENCY – breaking down the walls between companies and streamlining work processes.
That was the TradeNet Conference 2005 which gathered 100 shipping executives from 17 countries on 16-17 June in Copenhagen!
Technological development can help us on the way to SUPEREFFICIENCY. But an optimized ship supply chain cannot be created without personal dialogue. As stated by key note speaker, Ulrik Brandt, Senior Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer, A.P. Moller – Maersk Group: ‘Procurement is a people business’.
The TradeNet Conference proved to be an ideal environment – an oasis – where trading partners, colleagues, and competitors could collaborate freely without the constraints of day-to-day business dealings.
