Newsletter June 2004

Dear Friend of ShipServ,

As you may have read in TradeWinds and Lloyds List in the past few days, ShipServ has signed Anglo Eastern, the biggest ship manager in Asia and one of the largest in the world, as a customer.

Anglo Eastern will begin using ShipServ’s TradeNet to manage electronic purchasing and ship supply across its 140-vessel fleet and all its offices - Hong Kong, Glasgow, Singapore and Montreal. This brings the total number of ships on TradeNet close to 1000.

In addition to being an important customer, Anglo Eastern is the first ship owner/manager to be equipped from the start with ShipServ’s full electronic Ship Supply Management (eSSM) solution.

The company’s Managing Director, Marcel Liedts, said: “ShipServ offers a viable solution for us to streamline our supply operation and integrate our suppliers all over the world”.

The ShipServ eSSM solution was launched in May 2004 and enables ship owners/managers to trade electronically with all their suppliers immediately. It also includes advanced ship supply management tools for delivery- and catalogue management as well as analytics and reporting.
